Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal information Photon Electrical collects when you contact us, how we use it, and your rights. Last updated: October 2026.

Who we are

Photon Electrical is run by Marcin Huza, who is responsible (the "data controller") for your personal information. You can contact us at 1 Forest View Road, Walthamstow, London, E17 4EJ, by phone on 07932 266808, or by email at [email protected].

What we collect

When you use our contact form, phone or email us, we collect the details you give us: usually your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property, and a description of the work you need.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote.
  • To arrange site visits and carry out the work you ask us to do.
  • To issue certificates, invoices and warranties, and to keep the records the law and our NICEIC registration require.

We use your information because you have asked us to respond to you or to do work for you (taking steps towards, and carrying out, a contract), and to meet our legal obligations. We never sell your information or use it for marketing.

Who we share it with

We only share your details where needed to provide our service, for example with:

  • our website host and our email provider (Google), which store and deliver your messages to us;
  • NICEIC and building control bodies, when electrical work has to be notified or certified;
  • our accountant, and HMRC, for tax purposes.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry doesn't lead to any work, we delete your details within 12 months. If we carry out work for you, we keep records of it (such as certificates and invoices) for as long as needed for legal, tax and safety reasons, usually at least 6 years.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for advertising or tracking. Our hosting and security providers may use essential cookies or collect basic technical information (such as your IP address) to keep the site running securely.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, or to stop using it. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
